III · WHAT'S COVERED
SIX SERVICES · ONE CPA
Six places the books need a CPA's hand.
I.
Accounting System Set-up
First thing first: a chart of accounts that fits the business, not a generic template. We set up the books on day one so the months that follow take ten minutes, not ten hours.
II.
Bookkeeping — monthly, quarterly, or annual
Pick the cadence that matches the business. Monthly close for shops that need a real P&L every month; quarterly for service practices that file with the state on a quarter; annual for the smallest sole proprietors who just need clean numbers at tax time.
ACCOUNTING · MONTHLY BOOKKEEPING & GENERAL LEDGER
III.
QuickBooks — support and training
Hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and one-on-one training in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online). When the books are wrong, Rebecca finds where, fixes it, and shows the owner the move so it doesn't happen next month.
IV.
Financial Statement Compilation
Income statement, balance sheet, cash-flow statement — compiled monthly, quarterly, or for a specific request (a bank loan package, an investor conversation). Compilation engagement, not audit, not review — see Rebecca for the right level for the situation.
V.
Monthly Sales & Use Tax Reporting
Arkansas sales-and-use returns prepared and filed each month. Multi-jurisdiction reporting where applicable. The kind of recurring filing that's small risk one month and a real penalty when missed for a year.
VI.
Form 1099 Preparation & Reporting
Year-end 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC preparation for contractors and other reportable payments. Filed by the deadline, copies to the recipients, copies for the file. The annual chore that keeps the IRS letter from arriving in February.
